Join The Internationalist Law Center's Our Taxes, Our Needs Palm Beach County Campaign from July through November in various escalation points to force the world's largest investor in Israel Bonds - Palm Beach County, Florida - to divest its $1 billion dollar investment of taxpayer dollars into Israel Bonds, and instead, reinvest these funds in local needs.
We'll be showing up to public comment, budget hearings, Palm Beach County Investment Policy Committee meetings, and legal hearings to build the people power needed for: 1) our lawsuit against the Comptroller of Palm Beach County for his investment in Israel Bonds to succeed and 2) To pause a 67.5 million dollar re-investment of taxpayer dollars in Israel Bonds on November 1, 2026, and instead, have these funds be placed in a public trust funding local needs as decided by Palm Beach County constituents.
Please see all upcoming escalation points listed below. Dates highlighted in yellow are our national priority mobilizations—this means that we are looking for organizations outside of Florida to prioritize attending these events. We do not need national organizations to attend events that aren't highlighted in yellow. You will see at the end of each event description a note stating how many people have signed up for an event, as well as our goal number for each event. Sign-up numbers will be updated weekly. If you see higher numbers for one date, please prioritize signing up for a date with less sign-ups.
Specific logistics including virtual access links, comment submission portals, travel/lodging assistance, and what to expect will be sent via email upon sign-up for each event.
- Wednesday July 8th, 8:00 AM – Motion to Dismiss Hearing
In-Person and Virtual (Zoom). The Motion to Dismiss is the fight to keep our case alive — at this hearing, a judge will decide if the case will be dismissed/thrown out or allowed to go to trial. If we prevail, we move one step closer to holding Palm Beach County accountable and ensuring hundreds of millions of tax dollars are never again weaponized for political agendas to support Israel in the midst of a genocide, jeopardizing taxpayer money. We need as many people as possible to show the Court that our communities care about the fate of this case. We are looking for national partners to attend over Zoom, and for individuals throughout Florida to attend our rally outside of the courthouse in person if they can (if you are in Florida and cannot attend in person, not, please sign up to attend virtually).
